On the way back from the Sunshine Coast, we met up with friends at MyKai and introduced them to Fijian food. I had the kokoda (ceviche or raw fish), taro, palusami (taro leaves with coconut cream) and soy chicken. My friends had a bit of almost everything and enjoyed the experience. Hoping to return to try the curry, which was so popular, it sold out before we went to order.

Lady serving was lovely and busy! Lots of customers coming in and picking up so this obviously a popular place.
I got Spicy Fries (hot chips with curry sauce) and my friend got hot chips with Gravy and 2 scallops.
The chips were ok - quiet expensive, I thought. The curry sauce lacked spice too so was a bit disappointed.
Again, the lady serving/cooking was lovely and everyone else seemed to love the food xx

Took my young Australian born children and their school friend to test the taste of the pacific. Very tasty and delicious. Took me right back to my mother land. We had everything on the menu including desert. I must say we were very happy with the whole experience. Ample parking on site. Definitely revisiting this restaurant.
